i love christmas. everyone is in a happier mood and everyone is in a nicer *zone*. why is that? what is it about christmas that makes everyone in a nicer zone and a happier mood? is it because they think they wont get a present if they're mean? or is it because they love the fact that theyre getting presents? or maybe its because they simply love to give...and get a heartfelt smile in return? but there's so much stress that comes with christmas as well. is your present going to match up in value with whomever you exchange presents with? if you give one person a present, do you have to give their friends one too? and then there's the task of actually FINDING that special present for that special friend...followed by the selection of a lot of extra small presents to keep in store in case someone you didnt give a present to gives you a present.
But all of the above involves presents...and because of the stack of presents that usually come with the term "Christmas", people begin to forget the true meaning of Christmas, which is to celebrate the birth of Christ. no where in the Bible (the very foundation of the holiday, Christmas) does it mention giving presents to every single one of your friends. modern day Christmas is in fact a very shallow excuse for people to receive great wealths of gifts, a greedy trait indeed. so how did Christmas, a holiday in which people were supposed to celebrate the birth of their religious leader on earth, become a time of giving and getting, getting, GETTING? does this not defeat the purpose of Christmas??
then again, Christmas present giving/getting can be justified by saying that this is a time of displaying your gratitude for your friends who have always been there for you throughout the year. we, in fact, should be giving friends a small present everyday...but once a year is a WHOOOLLEEE lot cheaper x]
don't get me wrong, i love love love Christmas...i think it's the best holiday EVER...but all that i have just written is a result of some deeeeeeepp thinking on my part...so if you disagree...PLEASE don't come hunt me down...and if you DO agree...juss leave LOTS of props and comments

got lots of presents...and awesome ones too from awesome friends...such as sida, vicky, qinuh, joyce, JENECT, and more...haHA..sorta...x] OH EM GEE...sida + phillip...OH EM GEE...thats all i gotta say...oh yea...and to phillip: what's yoor family's annual incommee?? <~~ freakin rich...oh YEA...and ANGELA! do what yoo feel is rite hon...and nothing will go wrong...but that letter was...AHHH....:: tear ::...
then we had the swim team partie...wich was really fun...i got a mashi-maru!!! sorrie jess x]...and kevin + will gave the bear to johanna [ emme's litto litto sis ] in the end...after will got strangled/dragged halfway across the building...
oh yea...and as for the jam...we GOT JAMMED! santa fe KILLED...oh yea...and # 40 was seriously...either 15 or on steroids [ quote::unquote ]
